Colligan 5 YEAR PLAN We are one of the 6 Western Clubs that must present their 5 - year plan at the end of January. The Club Plan is setting down goals and aims the Club wishes to fulfill over the next 5 years around every aspect of the club. It will be used as a guide for the Executive Committee to follow and review on a regular basis. The following is a list of the areas that are being covered and the person(s) looking after those particular areas: Players, Coaching & Games: Ray Bannon, Communications and PR: Gavin Whelan and Ray Bannon, Club Structure and Administration: Gerry Quinlan, Financing & Fundraising: Pa Drohan, Michael Wall, Richie Browne and James Dalton, Facilities and Development: Paddy Ryan and Michael Wall, history/culture of the club: Anthony Walsh. We have a good few people involved which is great to see and it is important to get as many people possible get involved in the putting together of the plan which is been overseen by our co - ordinator Kay Barry. When the plan is ready an SGM is held so for all members to review and ratify the plan before it is presented to the County Board. COMMITTEE MEETING: A meeting of the club committee will be held tonight (Wednesday) in the dressing rooms at 8:00pm, all club officers and committee members are asked to attend. Another meeting will be held on Tuesday January 17th at 8:00pm with our coordinator Kay Barry to further look at the 5 - year plan with the presentation taking place on January 21st. PLAYERS MEETING A meeting for all players will be held at the dressing rooms on Saturday January 21st at 8:00pm although this meeting might be subject to change if club plan presentation is on the same night, more details on this in next weeks notes. |
